Imagine yourself, and your comedic talents, standing center-stage in New York City among thousands of fans, hundreds of industry players and twenty of today’s best sketch comedy groups. Think you’ll fit in? We do or you wouldn’t have been named Project Breakout’s Comedy Star.

As the winner, your all-expenses paid adventure at SketchFest NYC 2007 will begin on Thursday, June 7th and run through Saturday, June 9th. As far as prizes go, does it get any better than this? Actually, it does!

A Three-Day Internship

To make the most of your stay in the Big Apple, Project Breakout has arranged for the winner (or winners?) to meet with a range of comedy industry insiders. Included will be sessions with festival producers, talent agents, comedians of all kinds and even a network executive or two. The stories that you’ll hear and lessons that you’ll learn will no doubt prove to be priceless. Just don’t forget us little guys once you make it to the big time!

Fun in the Sun

As if the rest of the prize package weren’t enough, Project Breakout will fly the three finalists to sunny South Florida to work with our judges on producing a webisode. All work and no play is not how it goes at Project Breakout. So, we’ll be sure to squeeze in some wining and dining during your all-expenses paid stay in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida (May 2007).
