The Acropolis presents: The Powerjuicer 5000
In a live informercial gone horribly wrong, Stan Jefferson presents his newest product, the PowerJuicer 5000. An incredible spoof on the Jack LaLanne powerjuicer infomercials. Starring Steve Deutsch, Lisa Kowalski, Michael Parks, John Dunphy, and Brian Weiss. Written by Steve Deutsch and Frank Barranca. Directed by Frank Barranca.

Just wanna say thanks to everyone that voted. Even those that didn't like it, it's criticism and that's what every group needs to become better. Thanks again and we'll be looking for your support in round 2.
Congrats gentlemen (and lady), and good luck in round 2. -The Big Game Hunters
AEROSMITH? What did you clean Steve Tyler's bedsheets once? Listen Roadie, I agree with you that it's just an online contest, and there are a lot of similarities to this and Jim Carrey's Ride the Snake. But this is much better. I'm just curious as to what have you done besides hate on everyone else. We'd like to take your opinion seriously, these posts are here to explain why it was good or why it was bad. We all would like to know where your coming from. Saying it's just shit, or it's bad really doesnt provide constructive criticism. Basically, your just sitting home being a douchebag.
Not too bad, but I'm not sure the faux-infomercial works for you guys as a troupe. I would love to see something different in the next round, and, by the looks of the voting, I will.
Steve told me about that new skit you have. I heard it killed in NYC. WIsh I could have been there. And don't worry. We believe in you guys. As one of the few parties on here that I believe has seen your live performances. Hilarious.
SOmetimes, i think the true hilarity in this contest comes from the playa hating back and forht between people. lets be honest. we all use our votes 15 times a day so none of us really have lives. I know i don't I spend it all watching your stuff on youtube. i said it before, I'll say it again. funny shit man. funny shit.
I'm appreciating the power of suggestion in this skit, the dog-as-hostage is hilarious!
what have *I* done? perhaps you've heard of a little band called AEROSMITH!!??!! does my resume matter? no. do i "work" for anyone? no. it's a web contest....let's not take it too seriously. we're talking about $1000. you're encouraged to leave comments. most of these are crap. we've all seen this sketch before - "ride the snake".
I think he's working for the Good Taste Squad and his labor is much appreciated. This one needs to be half as long with twice as many funny parts.
What have you done Cornwallace? I'd like to see your work since your going around hating on other people's hard work. What have you done besides sit at your computer and put down everyone. Are you even in the contest or are you working for someone else?
very original!!.....if you've never seen "comedy" before in your life! come on, people...this isn't funny.
Put more jokes in the next one!
ooooops! Happy fingers!
God man. I've woken up on some really blurry sunday mornings and seen stuff not too far off from this. Ridiculous, as was intended I'm sure. Good job and good luck!

this is very funny. i couldnt stop laughing. great job on this. you should have used it for the last round!
ROTFL!!! My mom seriously just got one of those! she would look better in those pants though! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is it. This is what sketch comedy is about. It's simple. It takes something that we all know and it does a great job at poking fun of these people making the shows. You're absolutely right. How do they stay so pumped? Why don't those introducers just leave? Great job guys. I was sorry to see you didn't make it to last time, but like I said then, whenever you're in DE, just shoot by the club. We'd be more than happy to have you.
I know i'm in it, but I am a reporter, and as such i am ever vigilant to remain unbiased. That being said, this is damn funny.
I've seen commercials like this and you guys nailed it right on the head. Funny stuff...funny stuff.
