I thought this was great. It had a clear premise, something to say, and enough funny touches to keep me laughing and interested throughout the sketch, which was tight and didn't feel like it dragged on forever. Nice work.

This sketch works when it's silly (e.g. when god and the sailor jump up and down on the beach vying for attention). But it takes too long to get to the joke. More than half of the short is just a basic retelling of the creation story. It could have benefited from having more of a concept behind it.

I really enjoyed that God costume, but you're really, really far into the video before any comedy comes in. In a sketch, you need to make the premise clear and heighten it from the start.

Congratulations Guys! just wanna say that we're proud to be in the same grouping as ya'll. we are a little perturbed that we, being on the east coast, can't watch aladding with ya, but i'm thinking a speakerphone synched watches would make it enjoyable. THen again, we weren't really invited. But yeah...anyway, congrats again.
Hey guys congrats on round 3. I have to agree with 2 of the judges that you're joke took too long to get to and to be honest once the joke finally came it wasn't funny, but having said that you did a great job getting the vote out and I look forward to seeing what you bring for round 3.....As for one of the comments above, David Cross did say the best comedy comes from LA, but it all comes from people not originally from LA, so in essence LA doesn't have the best comedy, just a lot of talented people who flock there.

You know, half of the news stories that they report across the nation about creepy people doing creepy things on myspace are perpetrated by those fellas... Do as you will, but don't complain to me when your farts sound like whistles the day after the party.
Yeah, we can do that. Or we can do Aladdin seperately. Sometime after we've submitted the next video, because I imagine we'll all be stressed before then. Anyway, just MySpace me (god I feel like a tool saying that) from the Big Game Hunters account or from one of your individual accounts, and we can exchange contact information and figure stuff out, just so we're not swapping phone numbers on this public space. And if Clay doesn't want Troop at his kegger, they can come to the Aladdin party.
So uh... In a ploy to get people to vote for us I've been telling people that if we make it to round three that I will throw a kegger party at my small ass studio apartment. Needless to say you guys are all invited (pending we make it). Kate can even bring Aladdin. That goes for all the other groups too (especially the ones with females). Except maybe Troop, they seem kinda shady and I don't want them stealing my state quarter collection. Congrats on round 2 guys. Love, Clay of New Young Americans fame
