I would like to thank everyone for the continued support throughout the tedious rounds of voting. I would also like to thank everyone for not getting too annoyed with my constant emails and myspace bulletins and facebook notes. Thanks to all who enjoyed my 3 rounds of videos and to all of those who didn't enjoy the videos and felt the need to leave comments of negativity, I am sorry that you were unimpressed with my style of comedy, but that is why comedy is subjective and not every comic is for every audience. i am so proud of you, sal! i wish you the best and just know that i think you're the best and want you to keep it up! there's so much negativity on here but i wanted to brighten your spirits! regardless of the baseless accusations, i think it's obvious that you're great at what you do and that you deserve to be in the top! best of luck!

Man this whole comedy competition is douchebag central. Everyone voting for themselves. Ok, people are logging on like myself and are arguing with strangers about the fairness of this. At the end of this comedy competition, nobodys careers will be advanced. Everyone knew this from the start. There were about 150 mediocre entries submitted. If more people were aware of this competition, it'd be more competitive. I mean fuck me sideways with a lunchbox.

Completely Pathetic. Let people actually watch your clip and vote. The people below are right, you can actually see the vote number going up without any new views or people being added.

Michael, As always, keep pursuing your dream! It's so refreshing to see a comic who uses their head and not their 4 letter word vocabulary to illicit laughter. From one performer to another continue to keep em laughing and the rest will take care of itself!!

it does not add a count to views if you login/out! it's video views. i just tried it! i didn't mean to get in the middle of all of this, but i think some people are accusing people of things without merit. i don't know the person i vote for. i came here because i saw something about it on myspace. i like his comedy and am saddened that others are trying to bring negativity to this by accusing others of cheating, esp. when "apron" has another very similar screenname, "apronbagg". hmmm...two accounts. very similar. hey, i'm just saying....

it's BAB, sweetheart. i am so sorry you are worryin' your precious little head about all of this. and sugar, i am not sure about 107 people, but several friends voted over here. but if it makes you feel better, i had them line up and take a number and vote. i do apologize for your distress, but this doesn't rule our lives down here. i am just a friend who votes for their friend daily. i really can't imagine people spending exorbitant amounts of time trying to cheat the system..and how? now that i'm done voting, i must get some rest...busy day in the ER tomorrow. you know, saving lives...not wasting mine...online...worrying about voting in a contest. goodnight, darling!

Are you people really that dense? Each time you login and log out of a Username, the page refreshes and another view is added to the count (whether or not you view the clip). Get your facts straight. As for the # of people, it also says a lot about how many different people are comming to the site. The cat is already out of the bag, since Barb was apparently there in person to see all 107 people line up and vote.

oh, and i'm voting right now. just thought i'd check with the lurkers and make sure they documented this. i will vote 15 times. and no, not going to watch the video. so i am surely manipulating something. i'm calling some friends on the west coast, since it's a few hours earlier there, and telling them to vote. they will be "new" but i think i am going to tell them to not view the video so the count won't go up, therefore further frustrating those who are so concerned since they will be wondering how in the hell people can vote without the number of "video views" going up.
