Project Breakout Political Pundits to Cover National Conventions
Grand Prize Winners of Online Video Broadcasting Competition Share Spotlight

Ft. Lauderdale, FL (May 14, 2008) – After talking over, under or around the other 130 Political Pundit contestants over the course of the multi-round competition, Gabrielle Birchak and Rob Raffety have been awarded the opportunity to cover the upcoming national presidential nominating conventions on behalf of Project Breakout, the premiere online video competition community on the Web (www.projectbreakout.com).

Ms. Birchak, a political satirist and comedy writer from Annandale, Virginia, and Mr. Raffety, an attorney and adjunct professor, earned the respect of both the online audience and the panel of expert judges who were jointly responsible for selecting the grand prize winners from the pool of twenty-six finalists.

In being advised of his victory, Mr. Raffety said, "I've always wanted to attend a national political convention, and having the opportunity to do so in the capacity of a Project Breakout Pundit will only enhance the experience.  The way I see it, I'll be an eye-witness to history - and in the end, my main objective will be to provide commentary and analysis that is both entertaining and informative."

Not to be outdone, Ms. Birchak added, "This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that will enable and encourage me to take my punditry to the next level. I am so grateful, elated, and
honored to represent Project Breakout at one of the political conventions. I can't wait!"

Gregory Sukornyk, Founder and CEO of Project Breakout noted, "It has been great to see this Breakout Broadcaster competition attract such a wide and interesting range of entries, from the satirical to the serious to the controversial. Both Rob and Gabrielle have shown they really have what it takes as emerging pundits. By offering them the unique opportunity to represent Project Breakout as our official field reporters at the national conventions later this year, they will have the chance to gain further exposure that we hope will catapult their careers forward."

The Political Pundit competition was open to aspiring broadcasters from across the United States and Canada. Registered fans from around the world were eligible to vote for and comment on contestants during each round of the competition. The expert panel of judges, who were in part responsible for the selection of the grand prize winners, included John Beattie, the 3-time Emmy Award® winning executive producer of Global News, Michael Scott Sheerin, adjunct professor of broadcasting and new media at Florida International University and Aliya-Jasmine Sovani, a host of MTV Live.
