Is the Breakout Calendar Girls Competition open to anyone?

Those entering the Competition must be female, residents of either the United States or Canada and be at least 18 years of age at the time in which you enter the Competition. Sorry guys, you'll just have to watch this time around.

Who picks the winner of this Competition?

Winners will be selected through a combination of online voting by the fans and judging by an expert panel of modeling industry insiders. Each week, the online fans will select six (6) semifinalists. These ‘weekly winners' will be removed from the competition and featured in a special section of the website.

At the conclusion of the twelve week upload and voting period, our seventy-two (72) "weekly winners" or semifinalists will be judged by the expert panel of modeling industry insiders. In doing so, they will select the twelve finalists.

The grand prize winner will be selected by our expert panel of modeling industry insiders after the professional photo shoot to be held in South Florida.

What happens if my video entry doesn't win during the week that I entered the Competition?

No worries. Any and all entries that are not selected (did not receive enough votes from the online fans to make it into the top 6) during a given week will automatically be entered into the following week. So, if you enter the Competition early, you will have more chances to make it into the semifinals. Please note that votes do not carry forward from one week to the next.

What should I include in my entry?

As this is a swimsuit modeling competition, the online fans and our expert panel of judges will be watching to determine how you present yourself in one or more swimsuits. Feel free to express your creativity and talents in achieving this objective, but please be sure to present yourself in a professional manner.

If you are uploading a video (optional), it's also a good idea to tell the audience a bit about yourself, but please restrict any information provided to that which you feel comfortable having in the public domain. Get wild and crazy or stay cool, calm and collected. Above all else, just be yourself and have a good time!

I've decided to upload a video (optional), but am having issues. What's the problem?

If you decide to upload a video (optional), it must be no longer than five (5) minutes in length, no larger than 100 MB and must be in one of the following file formats: .asf, .mqv, .mov, .wmv, .avi, .dv, .mpg4, .3gp and .3gp2.

How many photos can be uploaded / entered into the Competition?

Each contestant is required to upload a minimum of four (4) digital photos, but can upload up to six (6) if she wishes.

How many videos (optional) can be uploaded / entered into the Competition?

Each contestant can upload only one video entry. If you upload a video (optional), it will server as your featured image throughout the website.

How can I get more votes for my video entry?

We've found that promoting yourself through your online and offline network of friends, family and fans is the best way to "get out the vote". Week 1 voting begins on October 1, 2007. Please note that votes do not carry forward from one week to the next.
