An enigmatic visionary who leaves everyone scratching their heads upon first hearing his notions, Greig Nori (a.k.a. Capital G) never ceases to amaze the masses with whatever he has up his sleeve. Employing innovative musicianship and intuitive producing style , Bunk Rock co-founder Greig Nori first proved himself a staple of the music scene as part of the decade strong band Treble Charger. Poignant, thought provoking lyrics and signature guitar crunch as his calling card, Nori and band mates blazed a trail for scores of indie bands that would follow in their footsteps, racking up 5 albums to date, several top ten singles and videos, gold and platinum selling status and a stead diet of relentless touring.
Nori’s next achievement was discovering and subsequently producing, co-writing and managing world-wide multi-platinum selling band SUM 41.
Nori has since built a reputation as a sought after producer, recording and co-writing with projects that include legendary godfather of punk Iggy Pop, Island Def Jam’s Ludacris and Autopilot Off, as well as Warner Bros.’ “knock you on your ass and kick you while you’re down” noisemakers, No Warning.
Nori’s most recent accomplishment was co-writing and producing the band Surplus Sons and the band One Second 2 Late. Both bands have recently signed to Sony/RCA and will have albums released in spring 2007.
Greig, through Bunk Rock, has developed a strong development relationship with Sony-BMG in Canada, with several of his bands signed to this premier label.
