Pros - Funny video but the 4th guy with the beard got burned. I didn't even realize he was in the band!!
Cons - The song you submitted is kind of weak. It's like the The Cars only "fat free"!!! I think your biggest hurdle right now is that you sound too much like watered down versions of bands that i suspect are your influences......Weezer comes to mind. I think that you need to keep crafting your sound so that it becomes more "Built By Snow"-sounding. Try adding more to your songs, as they're a little too basic right now. If you are going to be this simplistic in style then you will have to rely on strong melody and right now you don't have either.
Overall - At first I didn't really like where you guys were going with this entry, but then I listened to it a few more times and was able to see some potential for the band. I like the vibe you're going for, but at the end of the day....I didn't really buy into what you were selling with this entry.....sorry.
that's a sweet result, guys - right on! i don't know what whocares is going on about, the producer saw something in this band that many others would pass on (even though i really like the sound and don't completely agree with the producer's comments). if anything it's sincere praise. whocares - you just sound really bitter.
so yeah, ill say it, i think you guys are better off not winning this thing. clearly this producer is a douche. $250 is nice though, should help with the EP.
They could have made a video next to a pool with a bunch of children throwing each other in a pool? or maybe just taped themselves on stage playing and not even made a video, that will get you 30k votes :-P
I think I know the band's problem. If you tried sounding less original and were less entertaining, maybe you would have won. You know, sound like every song you've ever heard on the radio, but not in a good way. Did that make sense?

hmmm, bad mouthing? I haven't seen this band say one bad thing about anyone. In fact I have seen their posts on other bands comments sections encouraging the other bands fans to keep voting. I have seen excited fans say rude things about every band, but that doesn't mean you should hold the any of the bands accountable. "Nasty" and "Vindictive,"... should we hold your favorite band accountable for your words, leapers?
