Lights! Camera! Action! We set out in search of the next Breakout Filmmaker and found her in Studio City, CA. Congratulations to Lauren Pena for being named the Grand Prize Winner!
The Breakout Filmmaker Competition was established to challenge aspiring directors to create and submit compelling short films in their choice of genres. Our grand prize winner was selected through a combination of voting by the online audience and judging by a panel of industry insiders
Although the Breakout Filmmaker Competition has officially wrapped, we encourage you to watch the films and comment on your favorites. After launching new channels in Broadcasting, Sports and Animation, we’ll be back at it again with another Short Film competition. Thanks to all who participated and best of luck!
