chARTer~TECH High School for the Performing Arts
is a tuition-free public school available to students throughout Southern New Jersey. The TV Department at chARTer ~ TECH High School works like a fully professional studio. All TV/Film students learn the process of pre-production, production, and post production. Students write their own scripts, make storyboards, acquire locations, choose equipment, film, and edit their own original films, shorts, commercials, and news programs using the latest technology. Students are able to use any of our four editing suites, each editing suite has an industry standard program installed. Our sound stage, master control room, and Foley sound editing suite, as well as our animation lab where students work with the latest imagine manipulation software as well as graphics design.
