Project Breakout is pleased to announce that the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival will be serving as the official award partner for the Master of the Macabre horror filmmaking competition.

Now in its 23rd year, The Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival (FLIFF) will reel out over 200 films from around the globe. Filmmakers and celebrities will attend many of the screenings and events over the 37 day fest, October 14 - November 20. Parties and gatherings at area "hot spots", on board yachts, and on the beach will provide audiences an opportunity to hob knob with film talent and other movie buffs.

The Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival will feature films in such categories as American Independents, Documentaries, Shorts, Sunshine Celluloid, Gay and Lesbian as well as Retrospectives and Tributes.

The winning short film submitted by our Master of the Macabre grand prize winner will be featured on Halloween Night - just before the big Rocky Horror Picture Show party.
