Lauren Marie Pena was born in Miami, FL in 1986.
At the age of 19, she began working as a casting assistant under Michael Mann in the feature film "Miami Vice." Soon after, she moved to Los Angeles to attend the "New York Film Academy" located in Universal Studios. Her fifteen minute short "Easy Money" went on to win "BEST STUDENT SHORT" at the 2007 Cinema City International Film Festival. Lauren Marie stays active by working on local projects in Los Angeles either as a casting assistant, sag actress or shooting, writing, directing, and editing her own projects. |
