I am a Ukrainian-born filmmaker, living in Los Angeles. I love the thriller, suspense and psychological horror genres, but also have a soft spot for romance, which is something I'd like to attempt soon. I've been making movies for 8 years and am falling deeper in love with it the longer I do it. I am inspired not only by the great filmmakers I've grown up watching and learning from, but also by those unknowns I meet here in LA, who have sincere passion and respect for the work, those filmmakers for whom ego does not fit into the equation and who are willing to do anything just to get a film made. I believe filmmaking is continuous learning and although I've long ago graduated film school, no matter where my career takes me, I will always be a film student -- both in my love for the work and hunger for discovery. |
