A native of extremely rural Maryland, Jacquetta Szathmari escaped at the tender age of 13 to a Delaware boarding school. In the face of crew races and bold Laura Ashley floral prints, she developed a unique comic style.
She performs in numerous local clubs including Broadway Comedy Club, Standup New York, Mo’ Pitkins, Underground Lounge, New York Comedy Club, Galapagos Artspace, The Monkey Room, Village Lantern, Gotham Comedy Club, Laugh Factory and Laugh Lounge
Ms. Szathmari was a National Geographic’s Comedy of Travel Contest finalist and has appeared in the NYC Underground Comedy Festival. She has been published on a leading pharmaceutical company’s website , has written for the METRO and maintains lasvegassumo.blogspot and biggunsbigtobacco.com
