Cloverleaf is a piano-driven rock band which formed in the Summer of 2005 in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, PA. The band also calls home to Penn State University where each of the 5 members attend school as sophomores. Cloverleaf has toured regionally and has played many shows which has helped them to build an impressive fan base. Their online presence is also established throughout the purevolume and myspace communities with over 13,000 friends and over 100,000 plays to date. Cloverleaf dedicates a large portion of their time keeping in touch with their fans, promoting their music, playing as many shows as possible (2 in one night on some occassions), and writing new material. The band has received an amazing response from fans after releasing their debut album "First.Class.Mind.Ride" in March of 2006. The diversity found on "Mind.Ride" as well as Cloverleaf's newer material is the result of the unique and separate influences of each band member. Everyone has something different and creative to bring to the song-writing table. The album is available at all Cloverleaf shows, on the bands website, and iTunes. In their extremely short history, the band has had the opportunity to share the stage with many established national artists including Dashboard Confessional, Gym Class Heroes, Yellowcard, Anberlin, Circa Survive, Wheatus, Augustana, The Format, Blessid Union of Souls, The Pink Spiders, Quietdrive, Zolof The Rock and Roll Destroyer, Dave Melillo, Punchline, and many more. Another accomplishment that Cloverleaf has achieved was being selected as a quarterfinalist in MTV-U's "Best Music On Campus" contest in 2006. Also, their music has also been selected to score the MTV-U "2006 Woodie Awards" which aired on each MTV network during the month of November. Most recently, Cloverleaf won MTV-U's Campus Invasion Tour date where they get to perform with Dashboard Confessional, Augustana, Gym Class Heroes and more. The band has also acheived radio airplay from various online, college, and mainstream stations. Their 2 singles "Forever Lost" and "226 Miles" have been played numerous times all over the country. |
